Volunteer Liability Release

Zholistic Life Foundation

Zholistic Life Foundation (“ZLF,” “the Foundation,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to providing safe, inclusive, and meaningful opportunities for volunteers and participants. This Volunteer & Participant Liability Release outlines the terms and conditions under which individuals engage in Foundation-related activities.

By volunteering with or participating in any Zholistic Life Foundation program, event, activity, or initiative, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

Acknowledgment of Participation

I voluntarily choose to participate in programs, events, activities, or services organized, hosted, or supported by Zholistic Life Foundation. I understand that participation may involve physical activity, community engagement, travel, or other activities that carry inherent risks.

I acknowledge that participation is voluntary and that I may withdraw at any time.

Assumption of Risk

I understand and acknowledge that participation in Foundation activities may involve risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, property damage, or other unforeseen circumstances. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation, whether known or unknown.

Release and Waiver of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, and discharge Zholistic Life Foundation, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, partners, sponsors, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation in Foundation activities, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Medical Responsibility

I acknowledge that Zholistic Life Foundation does not provide medical insurance or medical care for participants or volunteers. I am responsible for my own medical needs and expenses arising from participation.

I agree to seek medical attention if needed and to notify Foundation staff or leadership of any condition that may affect my ability to participate safely.

Code of Conduct & Safety Expectations

I agree to conduct myself in a respectful, responsible, and lawful manner while participating in Foundation activities. I understand that failure to comply with safety guidelines, instructions, or behavioral expectations may result in removal from the activity at the discretion of Zholistic Life Foundation.

Photo, Video, and Media Release

I grant Zholistic Life Foundation permission to use photographs, video recordings, or other media captured during Foundation activities for educational, promotional, reporting, or informational purposes, without compensation.

If I do not wish to be included in media materials, I understand it is my responsibility to notify Foundation staff in advance.

Minors

For participants under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent and agree to the terms of this release on behalf of the minor.

Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zholistic Life Foundation from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from my actions during participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct by the Foundation.

Governing Law

This Release shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the state in which the activity occurs.

Acceptance of Terms

By participating in any Zholistic Life Foundation program, event, or activity, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to the terms of this Volunteer & Participant Liability Release.
