Zholistic Life Foundation
 Code of Conduct

 Effective Date: November 4, 2025
 
 I. Purpose
  The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to establish clear standards of ethical behavior, professionalism, and accountability for all individuals affiliated with Zholistic Life Foundation (“the Foundation”). This Code exists to protect the integrity, credibility, and mission of the Foundation and to ensure that all affiliated individuals operate with integrity and respect.
 
 II. Scope
 This Code of Conduct applies to all Foundation Affiliates, including:
 

  • Members of the Board of Directors

  • Officers

  • Staff and employees

  • Contractors and consultants

  • Volunteers

  • Committee members

  • Advisors and authorized representatives

  
All affiliates are expected to comply with this Code while acting in any official capacity on behalf of the Foundation.
  
III. Core Standards of Conduct
  
1. Mission Alignment
  
Affiliates shall act in a manner consistent with the Foundation’s mission, values, and stated purpose. Decisions and actions must reflect the Foundation’s commitment to integrity, community impact, and responsible stewardship.
  
2. Integrity & Ethical Behavior
  
Affiliates shall:
 

  • Act honestly and in good faith

  • Avoid deceptive, fraudulent, or misleading conduct

  • Exercise sound judgment in all professional activities

  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations

  
3. Respect & Professionalism
 
 Affiliates shall treat all individuals with dignity and respect, including:
 

  • Fellow affiliates

  • Community members

  • Donors and partners

  • Participants and volunteers

  
Discrimination, harassment, intimidation, or abusive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.
  
4. Non-Discrimination
 
The Foundation prohibits discrimination based on race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, religion, or any other protected characteristic under applicable law. All affiliates must uphold inclusive and respectful practices in their interactions and decision-making.
  
5. Conflict of Interest Awareness
  
Affiliates must disclose actual or potential conflicts of interest in accordance with the Foundation’s Conflict of Interest Policy. Personal interests must not interfere with the Foundation’s mission or decision-making processes.
  
6. Confidentiality & Information Stewardship
  
Affiliates shall:
 

  • Safeguard confidential or sensitive information

  • Use Foundation data responsibly

  • Refrain from unauthorized disclosure of internal discussions, documents, or participant information

  
Access to information is granted based on role and responsibility and must be respected.
  
7. Responsible Representation
  
When representing the Foundation publicly or professionally, affiliates shall:
 

  • Communicate accurately and responsibly

  • Avoid statements that misrepresent the Foundation

  • Refrain from actions that could damage the Foundation’s reputation

  • Operate within the authority granted by their role

  
Affiliation does not grant authority beyond what is formally assigned.
  
8. Stewardship of Resources
  
Affiliates shall use Foundation resources — including funds, materials, systems, and time — responsibly and solely for authorized purposes.
 
Misuse of resources may result in corrective action or termination of affiliation.
  
9. Accountability & Reporting
  
Affiliates are expected to report concerns regarding misconduct, policy violations, or unethical behavior through appropriate leadership or designated reporting channels.
 
Retaliation against individuals who report concerns in good faith will not be tolerated.
 
 
IV. Enforcement
  
Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in corrective action, which may include:
 

  • Counseling or formal warning

  • Removal from leadership or committee roles

  • Termination of volunteer or affiliate status

  • Termination of employment or contractual relationship

  • Additional action as determined by the Board of Directors

  
The Foundation reserves the right to investigate and respond to conduct concerns in a manner consistent with its governance policies and applicable law.
  
V. Acknowledgment
 
 All affiliates may be required to acknowledge receipt of and agreement to abide by this Code of Conduct as part of onboarding or continued affiliation with the Foundation.
